To post or not to post...
I have been feeling a fair amount of pressure to blog lately. Let it be known that I will not be a slave to the blog...regardless...fine...I'll post.
Thoughts on salary of teachers...
I have decided that it is ridiculous for teachers, even from when they are not even teachers yet, to complain about the amount of money they make. I do not mean to make a generalization here, because they are not all like this, but it seems that it is the complaining that I hear the most lately and I am only in my third week of the teaching program.
As a becoming teacher I see great value in the teaching profession, or I would not be it. I know it has value in the world but the value is not financial. I am deciding here and now never to complain about salary. I will not rely on money to make my standard of living or perhaps I should say, QUALITY of living rich. I will learn to be content in all circumstances...check out what the apostle Paul has to say about that.
What do you think about this?
I would write and think more on this right now but I need to run to the post office before class to send off a little something to a Gnombe appreciating friend.
There...a post...are certain individuals happy now...:)...more to come...I guess.

Hooray..something for a gnome appreciating friend!! I can't wait! I'm so glad to see you post again! I hope you don't complain about your wages...in my opinion, if you love your job enough, you won't be concerned about how much you are making. Spruce Meadows for instance. I didn't care about how much I was making because I was having so much fun with you, Sven and Bjorn! Love you and you're beautiful!

Would that certain person you referred to in your blog be me? Just because I left you 5+ comments on your last posting doesn't mean...okay I agree that was pretty annoying, but I felt like I needed to comment every time I visited your blog so that you knew you had viewers.
Well I for one do not intend to complain about salary. It is long hours, and I wouldn't do it if I didn't love it...but the money, meh, if I have food on my plate and a roof over my head I'm good. I love my job and I'm proud to be a teacher. I feel extremely blessed to be working at TCS.
And by the way Kara, I am overjoyed that have a new post. Look, you already have 3 comments and it has been like what 2 minutes since you posted? You are loved my dear friend and we value you and what you say.

Okay...gnome pajamas!! Coolest thing in the world!! I was sooo excited I went out into my hall, and all these girls were like, are those gnomes?! They are so ugly!! So I had to tell them the story of Sven and Bjorn and Queen S and her crazy obsession with the gnomes! The cart accessory...ya..made me cry. I opened it, and I started to tear up! Man..I think we may just have to go back to Spruce. Thank you soooo much!! You have just made my entire day, week, month, and possibly year! I Love you!! Miss you tons too!
